So what's the deal with the Cowboys backfield now?

Concerned Randle owner here.
Why did he get benched Sunday? Dunbar is out which you would think would increase Randle's workload.
Randle is easily the best of the three from what I've seen. So what's the story?

he was specifically told not to dive for the TD before that play, he did anyway, very nearly coughed it up. That'll get you in the dog house

I'm picking up McFadden in case he becomes the lead back. If Randle gets 15-20 carries this week and McFadden a few, I'll feel better about owning just Randle.

this is FYI...
this is what Dallas's run game looks like in yards per carry so far in 2015
1st half of games: 5.4 ypc
2nd half of games: 2.4 ypc
and this is the last two weeks:
1st half: 6.9 ypc
2nd half: 1.2 ypc
don't know if that will continue but that's odd as frick.

Well that might have to do with Randle getting most the snaps in the first half and then getting zero work in the second. 
This is why I'm so confused on what they're doing
That game Randle blew up and had twenty something points in the first half and then got maybe one point in the second because they stopped giving him the ball

Almost all his production was on 3 runs. Randle isn't a 20 carry back. He thrives with like 8 carries.
