So what are the boards thoughts on Tony Gonzalez going forward?

With Julio out and Roddy hobbled and a non existent run game, it seems he will be every defense's focus. Like most teams started to do, they will just jam him at the line and double him the entire game.

I ask because I was proposed Martellus Bennett and Hartline for Gonzo. I think I could upgrade Hartline for Cruz to maximize value out of the trade. I just think Gonzo is in for a rough second half of the season and I should sell high.

10 team PPR league.

He sucked when he was the main focus of defenses while he was in KC. He got jammed at the line to death!

Most dudes posting fantasy questions on this board don't know Gonzo played for KC.

Or that you win the league with a Priest/Gonzo duo.

True. And it's remarkable that he has stayed the same age ever since!

He's an older player who will be the focus of every defense. The guy is good but between that and general apathy toward his final messed up swan song season I think his production will take a hit.

He's on pace for a 100 catch, 1000 yard, 10 TD season.

He was 2nd in catches and 3rd in yards and TDs last year for TEs.

Im not sure age is a factor here. You think after 17 years defenses are now going to devise this awesome strategy to slow him down?

In the grand scheme of things, he's still easily a top 5 TE.
