This brings up an interesting issue of etiquette when it comes to paying the winner(s).
Should the money be paid within a week? 2 weeks?
And the commish or money holder, should that person take it upon themselves to reach out to the winner and pay ASAP, or should the winner reach out to him first?
I personally feel that the winner should be paid in a week or less and the person holding the money should reach out first, it would be considerate of them and set a good precedent.

i usually pay within 2 days. at the conclusion of the championship, i text the league and thank them for a good year and give a rundown of the playoffs and plans for next year. i then tell the cash winners to text me individually to set a meeting up. i dont go out of my way to pay them though. being a commish is a thankless frickin job so im not rearranging my schedule to drop off money

I paid today. Not that it mattered in our money games, but it's the day scores go official after stat corrections. Had the QuickPay or PayPal info for our winners already, so it was as simple as could be.
