I was talking to him about Jordan Reed and he came back with if a player is injured in the first half of a game, he can be swapped for the lowest scoring bench player at the same position. If your bench players haven't played yet, then we could choose who we want to swap him with.

That is literally one of the worst ideas I have ever seen on this board (your commish, not you).

Nah man

I've had it suggested everyone gets one swap a year (regular season only) but I can't agree to that

Why don't y'all just wait til the game is over then determine your starters?

Nope. Hoping your guys stay healthy is part of the game.

No, that's just silly. A player getting injured is part of the risk. Same as having a bad game for any other reason.

Honestly man, I've thought of this. If the two are playing at the same time - you get the backup's points from when he "entered" the game for you. So if he had 17 before your starter got hurt, you don't get that, etc.

It's radical and isn't possible on the mainstream sites but it would eliminate the fluke factor. Injuries are the unfortunate, un-enjoyable randomness.

Well it's the lowest scoring option on the bench that can be moved in. I don't know, he didn't really go into detail about it, though maybe a player who has already played cannot be substituted in and only guys yet to play? Either way, we have a long time to discuss it. I doubt it'll go through anyways.

It's a terrible idea either way. Part of fantasy football is deciding whether you want to take a risk on a guy getting injured/reinjured or going with the safer play. This takes that away.

Then it becomes an unfair advantage for people who happen to have players who are playing later than their starters.

Yup. AJ or Julio has a setback this week during the game? No biggie.
