AR was barely serviceable and while he had an okay game last night, was Jordy the reason for AR's success?

I know he was often downplayed as being a product of AR's awesomeness, but could it be that Jordy is Moss and AR is Culpepper?

Yes, his absence completely changed that offense.

His OL has been bad too

Drew Brees throws for 5k every year with scrubs who are then replaced to by other scrubs. I'm not even a Brees fanboy but that's impressive

OL is definitely their biggest issue, but AR has looked off at times even with protection

Jordy Nelson is one of the best pure WR's in the NFL. Him and Keenan Allen are 2 guys that are always open...even when they are smothered in coverage. He is incredibly sure handed and makes the WR'ing Corps around him better. Both of those offenses became very average with ProBowl QB's the second they both went down.

Nelson is that good.

I remember week 1 people thought Devante Adams was going to slide into that position and they wouldn't miss a beat. That turned out not to be the case.

Yep I was one of those people. At the very least people just assumed that Cobb would have a monster year without having to split targets with Nelson. That didn't happen either

Yes. He was always a major threat. If the defense did not account for him, he fricking torched them. Even if the defense did account for him, he still produced good numbers.

Jordy Nelson even blocked well on run plays that went his way, which turned okay runs into better runs.

I worry that this injury and his age will slow his production, though. Megatron's numbers started dropping off as the injuries crept up.

Yup, makes Drew Brees even more impressive than Rodgers IMO. I think Drew Brees still would have produced behind the Packers' line and their WRs.
