Had Eli and Stafford and wasn't feeling very confident in either, so i threw out Sankey and Andre Johnson for Peyton and it was accepted.

How do you grade this trade... I know Peyton isn't elite anymore, but he seems like an upgrade over my situation. My team after the trade...

Peyton, Eli
Hill, Forsett, Randle, Mason
A. Brown, D. Adams, Wright, Coleman, Randle
ASJ, Rudolph

Dion Lewis is on waivers, so I'll probably grab him.

How'd I do?

Think you did fine. Andre Johnson is slow and old and Sankey is still just not very good. Why not gamble on peyton with your qb situation

So essentially you gave up stafford, sankey, and Johnson for manning?

Nah. Bad deal.

What red said..

Peyton will struggle this year in this new offense, with his age, his prior injuries and he will have a late season swoon.

Gotta agree with this. You gave up too much for Manning, IMO.

stafford

Stafford is too match up dependent and has a lot of bad matchups DEN, @SEA, ARI, and @KC all before his bye week. I had dropped him before this trade to pick up Coleman, as I like his value this weekend (maybe).

Sankey could screw me, but I doubt it and Cobb will be pushing for carries by mid season when he gets off IR, plus TEN just isn't as good as they looked last week.

Andre Johnson looked slow and I was already starting to see the BUST after watching him this past weekend, even though it was BUF D.

After this week, Peyton has easy games @DET, MIN, @OAK, @CLE, GB, and @IND

I may have coughed up too much, but I still think it makes my team better than it was.
