Should I try to trade for a better #1 WR? / Which WRs to start?

1QB, Flex(QB), 2RB, 2WR, TE, Flex(non QB)

Drew Brees
Andrew Luck
Adrian Peterson
Alfred Morris
Vincent Jackson - @Jets
Marques Colston - vs Falcons
Kyle Rudolph
Rashard Mendenhall @ Rams
Cardinals Defense
Bench:
Jordy Nelson @49ers
James Jones @49ers
Golden Tate @Panthers
Chris Ivory vs Bucs
Danny Woodhead
I wish I had a better RB in the flex spot than Mendenhall and would like to have had better on the bench than Chris Ivory. We'll see..
But my biggest concern is the WR group. thoughts? And who should i start?

Its a 10 person league. (is that what you meant?)
So I've pretty much decided on giving Golden Tate the nod since hes playing the panthers.
Also likely going to start Colston.
My flex spot. Mendenhall or Jordy (Vincent Jackson is playing a good CB this week. Have to see Ivory play well before he starts)
Also, I just found out that it is a PPR league

The fact that you were able to get Colston or V Jax in the 5th is a heck of a steal. I would be thrilled with your lineup. Everyone is going to have at least one questionable spot week 1. I would go with the most proven guy or guy you know is a lock for plenty touches.
Do I go Mendenhall at the flex. I may actually start Nelson at my WR, but he has been hurt most of the preseason and they are playing the 49ers. So with him your hoping that A Rodgers has a big day. Mendenhall is a starter and will get his carries. Now what he does with those touches is another story. Hope that helps

Jordy in the Flex and you're set. Mendy is a bye week filler imo, not a starter in fantasy.

I am. Even though I'm projected to get beat by 35 points this week.
I think I'm the only person in the league with 2 top 10 QBs and 2 top 10 RBs.
I got Luck too early, but I was playing it safe with 18 picks until my next turn. I could have had a much better WR or 3rd RB and picked up Russel Wilson. oh well

I agree with you about Mendenhall. Does anyone think Chris Ivory will become good enough to play at flex this season?
Also, Tate or Vincent? Im thinking Tate this week, Jackson most other weeks

I would never sit VJax, especially with your team.
and i would put no faith in any player from the Jets being fantasy relevant this year.

well shite. now im stuck again 
I just did some researching for week 1 WRs. a bunch of people have VJ as a top 5 to sit this week. then a bunch of people have him as one to play this week. hes going against antonio cromartie.
So i can play him and colston and mendenhall? I really think mendenhall gets 20 carries, which should be more points than jordy or tate. the league is 1PPR though.. and im newish to fantasy football

I would assume you picked VJax in the 4th round, as your WR1.
I"m still wondering who you plan on playing instead of him?
Vjax is my flex player/WR3 and i don't ever intend to not play him.
He's playing the Jets. The only downside to it isn't Cromartie, its the fact that they might be running all game b/c they are going to blow them out.

I would start Vjax and Colston, jordy as flex and you're set. I don't see how you are projected to lose by 35 points. You must have a few really bad teams in your league.

I don't understand how you can consider sitting your WR1 that you picked up in the 4th round for guys you drafted past the 7th or 8th round and are considered flex players by most.
VJax on a bad day will most likely perform equally to the rest of those guys average day.

Mendenhall at the Flex for sure. Take the RB who will get more touches over a WR. Nelson is coming back from Knee surgery against a tough 49ers Def. Go with Mendenhall and you will be fine.
Also stick with VJAX and Colston at WR. You'll thank me on Monday!
