Should I spend a waiver claim to dump Markus Wheaton?

If I don't make a waiver claim, I am forced to start Wheaton this week as my WR3. I have 2 WRs on bye weeks, Corey Coleman is injured, and Josh Gordon is dead.

Transactions cost money in my league. I have one more "free" transaction to burn.

The two available WRs I would claim are Terrelle Pryor and Will Fuller. I may not need either one again after this week.

Question is this: is either of these one-week fixes going to make a significant enough difference to justify the move? I'm leaning toward yes, but I will need to burn a waiver move in a few weeks because I only drafted one kicker, and that move will cost money if I do this one.

Yes, use the waiver to drop Wheaton and pick up either one.

Yeah, I had every opportunity to pick up either one and I didn't. Kind of frustrating. I thought the offense would be too shitty with the Browns and Fuller would be a 15 one week goose egg the next player. So wrong so far.

Can I get an invite to play in your league next year?

The question is not are they better. I'm not stupid. The question is should I "waste" a $10 roster move to improve my WR3 for one game?

Wheaton was my 7th WR drafted. My 3 starters (Cooks/Fitz/Crabtree) all have more points this year than Pryor and Fuller, and Snead was outscoring them before they got hurt, so Pryor/Fuller could be my WR4/5 the rest of the year.

money shouldn't keep you from adding good players. You either want to win or you don't. Shame on your league for leaving those guys out to hang. Unless you are in a shitty 8 tm league.

Fuller is within 2 points of fitz in my league and has more points than Cooks. Pryor has also outscored Cooks in my league.

in my PPR league, fuller has scored 68, Pryor 61, cooks 55

and Fitz has 70

You have to do this. Honestly, I would pick them both up. $10 per transaction is very steep, but I'm assuming with that kind of transaction fee, the pot at the end of the year is huge. Wheaton doesn't need to be owned while Pryor/Fuller are solid WR2s.

I don't see a guarantee that either of these 3 guys are better going forward than Pryor or Fuller. Maybe they are, maybe they aren't.
