So I have Gronk in a 14 team 2 point ppr league. I also have Seferian Jenkins. I guy wants to give me Sankey for him and I'm on the fence. I'm set at WR. My running back situation has forte and then only tevin Coleman and Gurley as my second back.

Comes down to which of the 2 were just a flash in the pan week one and who could be the star

Any help would be appreciated thanks

Since you have Gronk, I don't see you playing ASJ over him or even at the flex position. It would bolster your depth at RB and give you a solid flex/rb2 type player that has some high potential if Mariota keeps playing at a high level.

Also, almost half of ASJ's yards came on a long TD pass during garbage time for TB. The tight-end position is gonna be very TD-dependent and with Mike Evans coming back this might take away some of ASJ's targets.

I think his targets will still be high bc the D has to pay attention to Evans. Just my opinion.

Very true, but he's a big arse target w a dumbass rookie QB.

With TigerPackage here. Betting on Sankey makes most sense for your team. One game sample set for Winston/Sefarian-Jenkins connection not enough. There's been gradually increasing optimism and praise for Sankey's development; he was a planned value target in my drafts and I let the Cobb hype steer me clear of him, regrettably. Even if he reverts to 2014 form, you should definitely have Sankey rostered in your situation and hope.

Agree with the others. Both are risks with small sample sizes, but given your team needs, Sankey makes more sense for you. The best ASJ will ever be for you is a Flex guy or trade bait. If Sankey is legit this year, he could end up your every week RB2.
