Going into tonight Chase Utley was batting a buck o' eight and failed to hit a double in April for the first time in his career.

He's on the wrong side of 35 with late career injury issues. Dude is done and can't quite admit it.

Glad I drafted the 2015 AL Cy Young in Keuchel to replace the 2014 Kluber.

Cobb (forearm) may have a torn elbow ligament, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The report says this is "informed speculation", so we'll be on the lookout for something more solid. It's still a troubling development for Cobb's owners, as the right-hander was shut down from throwing Monday, and he may now be in danger of needing Tommy John surgery. The Rays expect to know more within the next two or three days, according to the Tampa Bay Times.
Yikes

Ottavino (elbow) will likely require Tommy John surgery, costing him the remainder of the 2015 season, the Denver Post reports.

I wonder what the rate of injury is this year? I've been devastated in 2 of my leagues with multiple bats and arms out for extended periods.

Damn, I really liked Ottavino's to run away with the job this year. I hated trading him.
Does anyone else want to trade a very good player for two pitchers who will need TJ in a week?

Payback for the Johnny Cueto fleece job he pulled on me.

ESPN had the out of lineup indicator for Kelly Johnson tonight, so I pulled him out of my lineup. That's nice, honey.

They were having issues earlier this year. That is why they did not have the red exclamation points until recently.

I can empathize. I had 9 guys on the DL in HC. I only had 10 keepers in TDBL due to injuries and I have several more that have missed significant time (Yelich/Rendon).
It's crazy this year. I miss steroids.
