I have the #2 waiver spot - which would you prefer?

Hillman's next three games:
@NYJ
SF
SD

Oliver's next three games:
@Oak
KC
Denver

Williams next three games:
@Phi
@Dal
Indi

I like Oliver's matchup's the best, but feel that Hillman may have more opportunities under Peyton in the long run. Williams may be the best RB in terms of running style for fantasy points, but his upcoming conference games are always tough.

I'm in the same boat, but with the #4 waiver spot. All 3 guys are available and I have Montee Ball so I'm not really thinking about Hillman in the long term since Ball will be back in 2-3 weeks. I've got waivers out on Williams and Oliver in that order so I'd be happy with picking up either one.

I rank them

Andre Williams - rb1 next two games, flex or low end rb2 when jennings returns
Oliver rb1 this week, rb2 or high end flex when mathews returns
Hillman - too messy to tell with CJ and Juwan. Plus denver may bring in another rb

I agree with this. I have a waiver in for Oliver (Williams not available), but am bypassing Hillman all together most likely. Three very difficult matchups coming up for him, plus the RBBC they'll be using. I'm just not willing to use a waiver spot for a guy like that.

based on what? Jennings is 3rd in the NFL in carries. He isnt sharing when healthy.

Oliver is the only one with value once the RBs come back from injury. He still has a role in that offense.

That knee sprain isn't going away. Even when healthy he won't carry the full load

Which is why he's sitting out a few weeks until the knee sprain goes away

Ben Tate had the same injury in week 1. Missed a few weeks, came back and got 22 carries last week and had no issues with his knee.

Jennings is an every down / more complete RB and just a better player than Williams. When Jennings gets back, he will be the guy.

In regards to the OP... I like Oliver the most.

Hilliman is in a fluid situation where other guys will get work at the RB spot. Hillman only had 2 carries before last week. CJ Anderson had more than him going into last game and has looked really explosive. And they have Thompson who got the goal line carry. And they my bring in anther RB.

Williams could be a solid play for a few weeks. But when Jennings gets back, he will be the guy. Jennings is an every down player that is good at everything. The only advantage Williams has over Jennings is that hes a little more powerful. But Jennings is better at everything else.

I think even if Donald Brown plays this week, Oliver will still get most of the carries. And when Matthews returns, Oliver will still be the RB2 for them. And its nt like Mathews was getting 20 carries a game before he was injured. He had 12 carries and 11 carries in 2 games. They want to use a RBBC and Donald Brown has struggled, Woodhead is done for the season, and they arent feeding Mathews that much. I think Oliver could easily get the most snaps for the Chargers, even when everyone is healthy.
