So some background; 12 team non-ppr league, and my team has been absolutely ravaged by injuries so far this year. David Johnson and Spencer Ware were supposed to be my 2 RB's, I had Rob Kelly as a backup/flex option. Also had Greg Olsen as my TE, but that doesn't factor in to this trade.
Needless to say, my RB depth was shot and I was looking at having to start Rawls and Kamara at RB.

I give:
Brees
Rawls
I get:
McCoy
Cousins

As in LeSean Mccoy?
That's pretty lopsided as far as I'm concerned.

Agreed. Rawls is a non factor basically. So you're giving Brees and getting a top 10 RB and a top 10 QB back. If that is on the table you have to take that.

That was my thought, too. I jumped on that trade as quick as possible. I was expecting much less. I was probably going to drop Rawls to waivers, anyway.

The person who made this trade with you is dumb.

However, with your injury plagued team, McCoy is another risk to join that club. Still have to cross your fingers and take that trade 100 times out of 100 though.

I'm going to guess this trade was with a massive Saints homer, who thinks Drew Brees is the old Drew Brees and will turn things around and lead the Saints to the super bowl.

He's actually a Panthers fan who had Cousins and Tyron Taylor at QB and thought Rawls could still be a RB2 option. After an 0-2 start with shitty QB output, I think he's just a little jumpy. To be fair, he still has Ajayi at RB and a decent WR group.
