Rondon will set up. He's worth monitoring as there is some concerns about Davis's arm.

Yep, he could be a good midseason pick up. But even as many games as the cubs will win this year they do not give a lot of save opportunities. Top two closers this year will be Melancon and Jansen. Both have good stuff and are on teams that give them the most save opportunities.

Cubs had 1 less save opp last year than the Dodgers and Pirates. They were 10th in save opps. By comparison Tampa led the league with 20 more opps. In the end you still want a closer on a winning team

Agreed, but I don't see the cubs winning 100 games this year and I see the dodgers being better than last year. Melancon pitches for the Giants now.
Colome is going to have great numbers this year for my Rays.

Cubs did have a +270 run differential last year. 103 wins and but only 67 were save situations. An offense/pitching regression could seemingly bring more save opps in closer games
That's right. They only had 56 save opps past two seasons fwiw
