Out of these players...I have them in this order,
1. Heyward
2. Posey
3. Carlos Santana
4. Stanton (maybe the most exciting player of the group)
5. Smoak
6. Montero
7. Pedro Alvarez
All these players (except for montero) are guaranteed to be available this up coming draft in my keeper league, and I'll have a shot at 2 of them.

get ready to add Jeremy Hellickson and Michael Pineda to that list

Going forward and into the future it's going to be Heyward and Stanton 1-2 as far as fantasy - they have the most power and power is #1 in fantasy.

I like this list. I would probably put Smoak higher than the catchers, however.

I only put Smoak last because he plays at a loaded position.

I agree with that. My rationale was that catcher is probably the position with the least impact to your fantasy team since they don't play everyday. They're also less valuable since there is a growing number of decent/good catchers.
Somewhat contradictory though, if Posey were to not have C eligibility next year (I don't know how they deal with minor league games when determining a players eligibility for next year), I would drop him like a rock on the value list.

Agreed.

First of all, jason castro doesnt belong with in 10 miles of that list
I should clarify though, this is a keeper simulation league, so we actually play 162 games with a baseball simulation program on a computer. So defensive arm and fielding% all come into play.
Santana's bat is plenty good enough that they'll find a way to keep him in the lineup even when hes not playing C, Posey close to the same, just with less power.
Its looking like Ill have the #! and #3 picks in the draft this year. With 50ABs being the minimum requirement to be eligible for the rookie draft. 26 team league...so that kind of talent addition is HUGE

No love for a guy batting .302 with 8 HRs, 34 RBIs, and 38 runs?

Gaby Sanchez?
If you're going to include him you have to include Boesch who is outperforming Sanchez by a lot.

First of all, Im not a "castro hater", I live near houston and if i were to be a fan of any team, it would be them. I just dont think that his probable .270 .330 and 12hr a year average is anything close to the guys on the list.
But he will be available in my draft this year...
G. Sanchez is a good player who is most likely hitting as good as he ever will.
Boesch is a very good player who is definitely playing at a very high level. I dont know if i see him keeping that up for a full career though.
