I have joined an new dynasty league. This is the first Dynasty I have ever played in. It is a PPR league also. I draft in the 11 spot. We are drafting 25 this year then trimming the roster to 18 before the season starts.

Any of you guy play in a dynasty? What advice can you give? Do's? Dont's?

Thanks in advance.

One thing I've learned is don't be so caught up on the young players. Sure its good to not have a team of 32 year old running backs but I'm amazed sometimes how far a Stephen Jackson type back falls just because its a dynasty league. Nothing wrong with winning this year.

I got in my first dynasty league this year. I'd advise getting a mixture of young and old. Rbs have short lives in the nfl. I'd wait and get a few rbs later.

Don't take your risks in the early rounds. Draft a solid starting team, and then rather than fill your bench with WRs/RBs you'll never start, take chances on players with the highest upside. Depending on your keeper rules, your priority is drafting breakout players late so you can keep them cheap and still have your early round picks the following year.
