And will he take over kicking duties immediately. I have an open roster spot and don't want to waste a waiver on him gone Tuesday.

Yep. No team holds a roster spot for a kicker while on suspension unless they are the automatic starter upon return. And he's one of the best in the league.

I agree, but I miss having gostkowski give me a minimum of 10 points every week. Sometimes it is just crazy to see the fluctuation in NFL kickers. Then there are those guys who kick until they're 40

other than the 63 yarder I didn't know shite about him, and I know he kicked a record amount of extra points, was he overhyped, is the other guy that good or did he just fricking lose it

Prater kicked 23 more extra points than anyone else last year. If Denver is the top offense, then he is worth owning for sure (the point is more the Denver kicker in general, not whether it is Prater or McManus).
