In a standard league, is this guy viable right now? He gets targets, but most are of the 10 yards and in variety. He also doesn't seem to be a red zone target. Feels like Jarvis Landry, which can be consistent, but underwhelming in non-ppr leagues.

I'm thinking of dropping him for Devante Parker and to a lesser degree Tyrell Williams.

He seemed like a good value where I drafted him, but the emergence of Marvin Jones takes a lot of that post-Megatron value.

What say you?

P.S. I'm not really afraid to make moves I may regret, if they could pay larger dividends.

Is there no one else you can drop?

I would drop him for Parker although there's gotta be someone else you can drop before Tate. Tate never did pass the eye test for me tbh. Parker is due for a monster year phins should throw just as much as Detroit but Tate prob has more competition for targets.

Of course, but there is no one I value less on my team right now. WRs = Landry, DT88, Crabtree, Sanu, Tate. RB = Gurley, Miller, Gio, Duke, CMike. Only one close, is Duke, as far as dropability.

There's something going on with Tate because he's still getting 10 targets a game

Duke is useless in a standard league

Marvin Jones is the obvious 1 right now. Boldin played as many snaps as Tate last week as the 2. Not saying drop Tate, but from week 1 to 2 it doesn't look as good. Still very early though and I don't know if I trust Parker and Tannehill.

Yea he's 5'10" and isn't really a deep threat. HIs ceiling is say Jarvis Landry must Landry is much tougher and just a better player all around.
