Had him targeted in my league, and ended up grabbing him much later than I thought as my RB 2

Everything coming out of camp sounds very positive, and he is the clear cut #1 back as well as getting Goal Line carries (will Oakland have many of those??)......barring him staying healthy, is he a high end RB 2 with RB 1 upside???

O-line is horrible. If he is def a 3 down back, I might take a shot at him. What round did you end up picking him up?

Those of us that can keep him at low cost may benefit, but I'd be weary of targeting him in a redraft as a starter until we see more. I'm hoping for the best, but it's tough to strike gold at rb.

Even more, Helu will presumably vulture some production. They might even throw Richardson's fat arse in on the goal line.

Richardson might not even be active on game days

would be ok if he was my RB3. RB2, no way. I think he bombs, mainly because of the team he is on. But he is a freak athlete, so there is a tiny bit of hope that he can get past his shitty team and become viable.

oakland has had one 1k WR since 2005, and just 4 RBs since 2000 to hit 1k yards.

I went zero RB & WR heavy and got Dez, Julio & Evans

Lamar Miller
L Murray
Joseph Randle
G Bernard are my backs

I came in 2nd last year with that same strategy and Ellington was my RB 1 and I basically streamed RB 2 all year.

I feel pretty good

Depending on the rest of the team, I would be a little nervous about him as my rb2. He showed some promise in very limited time last year. It could have just been a flash in the pan. Boom or bust type pick I think. I need to do some research as far as ADP, but he seems like maybe decent value mid to mid late round pick.

Bernard and Miller probably should have gone somewhere in the first 4 rounds, even in a 10 team league.

For your sake, I hope it turns out that way, but I'm not buying the hype. Reminds me of Ellington last year. Few RBs succeed on a sucky team. Only MJD and Corey Dillon come to mind from past years. The reasons are many. Team never crosses the fifty, playing from behind too much of the time, offense can't stay on field for more than three plays a possession. You get my point. You might have some luck rotating the rest of your bench depending on match ups. And if Murray pans out, good for you.

So you got these guys in rounds 5,6,7 and 8?

Ok.

All 4 of those will go in first 60 picks in a competitive league.

Granted, but I can only assume with current information. By that logic, the Raiders MIGHT trade for Adrian Peterson. Speculation is speculation.

So you can write the Raiders might give Richardson GL carries, but I can't write he might not even be active on game days?

Gotcha.

Doesn't play special teams, fourth in line as primary ball carrier, and he was an inactive for his previous team in its latest games. I can only assume with current information.

I'm cautiously optimistic eventhough it is hard to get excited about any raiders player. Del rio is the new coach and they look like they will be better passing the ball which may help. He is a big and fast back 6'3" 230 and was clocked at 4.38 40 yard dash. I'm not risking much since I was able to keep him for a 13th round pick.
