Taking a RB 1 in the 1st round with the 5th overall pick and a WR in the 2nd round.

I'm really favoring taking one of the three RB's listed in the 3rd Round. Which one would you choose and why? I'm also considering taking Brandin Cooks in the 3rd and waiting for Frank Gore in the 4th.

That's what I would do.

I mean I'm not going too far out of my way to predicting I'm going RB-WR-RB. It's called draft strategy

I haven't drafted in any of my leagues yet. Is Gore really falling to the 4th? I feel like he belongs right there with the group of RBs you listed.

I'm drafting in ESPN, and Gore's ranking is REALLY low. They rank him going in the 5th round but, I've seen everyone in the mock drafts take him no later than the first half of the 4th

I think cooks has possibility to be top 10 WR this yr. I'd prob go cooks, then (tate/landry) and try my best to land foster in the 7-8th.

Forsett is the best option of the 3 listed. I got him in the 4th in 2 drafts so far though. Jeremy Hill was there in the 3rd and has been so in every mock I've done. The 1 thing I noticed doing a lot of mocks is QBs are stupid deep as well as RBs. WRs take a big dip after the 2nd-3rd round. When you add Benjamin and Jordy being out for the year, it just compounds the problem.

I'm typically a BPA guy, which usually means RB/RB or at least RB in the first 2 rounds. This year though I went Antonio Brown and D Thomas in the 6 slot. Followed that with Hill and Forsett. I ended up with 5 starting RBs on my roster and Romo in the 5th or 6th. Like I said, RB/QB are deep this year.

8 team? Hill and Forsett are gone in the 2nd in 12 team leagues, PPR or standard, unless you're drafting with idiots.

OP, of the three, I'd take Miller. He's the go to back on an up and coming offense. Morris is a good non-ppr back, but he's on a terrible team. Forsett is a great PPR back, but not so much in standard. JMO.

Would love for this to come my way. I'm drafting 9 and 11 in my two money leagues though. I'm surprised you were able to snag D Thomas in the second round. Was this a 8 or 10 team league?

10 team. Charles, Bell, Peterson, Rodgers, Luck were the 5 picks before my first. Manning, Lynch, Brees, Lacy closed out the first round. OBJ, Forte, Megatron, Gronk were the 4 picks before me in the 2nd.

I started playing in this league last year and they lean heavily on QBs. I sat back and took Big Ben in the 5th last year and Romo this year. Nothing crazy about the picks, QBs were a reach but, I expected it in this particular league.
