I made the mistake of starting him tonight. I shouldn't have trusted goff to not be an a-hole

Should never start a player in the flex position on Thursday. Start that player at RB or WR to leave yourself flexibility on Sundays.

Never ever start Thursday players in the flex. Put them at their position if you're going to play them

Didn't read whole thread, post before nailed it

I never had Terry Glenn, but that bastard always had big games when I played against him.

Kelvin Benjiman had a nice rookie year too.

But I get your point. Relying on a rookie WR is dangerous. There are only 1-2 a year if that. Some years there are a few like 3-4 years ago

You're missing the point. We aren't saying don't start Garcon. Saying you should start him in your WR slot in case something happens to your starting WRs. You can always slide one of your starters in at Flex on Sunday. Never know if something may happen to them before Sunday.

It's a situation that normally comes up when you have injured players. Example. I have Jordy and he was hurt last weekend. If I thought he might not play, I would've started Garcon in my wr2 spot tonight and waited to see if Jordy was gonna play. If not, I can still start an rb or te in the flex position, or Jordy if he plays.

You could add Kelvin Benjamin and Percy Harvin probably as well.
