I've got the same decision and have gone back and forth. Avery is hurt and KC is short on pass catchers. I think the lack of usage last week was more about his injury and quality of opponent. I don't think KC will lose this game, but they will have to pass to win. Kelce and Bowe will be the main targets and Bowe can't carry the load himself. I think Kelce has a big game.

Reed is up against Dallas who struggles against the TE. Washington will certainly have to pass to win leading to most analysts ranking Reed much higher than Kelce. The thing I'm having a tough time with is they are starting Colt McCoy with an average at best OL. Reed may have a big game especially in PPR with alot of check downs. I think it's unlikely he scores.

Not as easy of a decision as it appears on the surface. If I only had one of either, I wouldn't have a tough time playing either one. Standard, I would play Kelce, PPR I'm leaning Reed with the hope he catches several passes to make up for not scoring.

It's not like reed runs deep routes anyway.

exactly

And McCoy averaged almost 11 yards per attempt last week. Peyton Manning leads the league at 8 ypa, for reference. He threw a lot downfield to Garcon and DJax.

It's dumb to assume McCoy is going to go checkdown charlie to his TEs bc he sucks. There is no correlation there. Look at all the other bad QBs- they dont throw to TEs because they cant complete a pass downfield.

Kelce has been pretty consistent. Just my preference bc i want a solid 8-10 points from my TE

What's talls opinion on Kelce?

Just got Julius in a trade so Kelce is on my bench or I could flex him.

Should I hold or try to trade him? Guy offering Sproles. Or Sankey for him? I really like Kelce's upside but Walrus and his usage makes me frustrated

Kelce is the 8th best PPR TE with limited snaps and an lingering rib injury. I like him a lot going into the 2nd half of the season (Ertz too).

You don't need him with Julius though. May as well deal him for a RB. Sankey may get more run since Greene got arrested. The switch to Sankey can't be far behind considering they finally gave Mett the job. I'd take Sproles for him, too.

right. agree with you on that. I guess my only thinking would be if Kelce were to say blow up to a top 5 TE then I could trade him for something else, ya know. I still need to upgrade my WR spots and RB depth is always helpful.

That said, I do like Sankey but seems Tennessee refuses to use him no matter what. I also like Sproles, but his receptions have been weird and overall usage.

At the same time, if I hold out another week, Sankey could go off, Kelce has another lame game thanks to Walrus and I miss out.

Decisions, decisions.

Of the two, would you rather Sankey or Sproles? ppr
