I'm in the same spot in my league. I probably go Marshall. I think their offense is going to be good and he's just consistent.

I'd shoot for the upside and go Julio

im torn.. i love some marshall, i had him last year. But like you said the julio upside intrigues me, but foot injuries worry me. I am praying 2 of dt88,dez,aj will be there. I know the top 5 rbs, megatron, graham, and 2 qbs will go before me.. im just hoping 3 qbs go and im good.

I'm worried I'll have to pick 2 of green/dez/Rodgers/Brees in my league. I think 3 of them will still be there.

Why does it matter what anyone here says. It's not like they can tell you the future for these players. Just pick the person you want fricker

As a falcons fan, I would go with Marshall.

This is his 2nd surgery to his foot and no telling how it will handle to the grueling 16 game schedule. While JJ could have more points that Marshall, he could also miss a lot of the season. Marshall will be the safer play.

Marshall is the safest behind Calvin to average double digits each week. Not huge numbers every week but consistency

Marshall. Way higher floor, more consistent, healthier. Even if Julio goes off, it'll probably be around the same stats as Marshall, so why take the uneccessary risk?

If he goes off, he's going to exceed what Marshall does.

Consider his pace last year. He played in 5 games. His stats over 16 games would have been:

131 catches
1856 yards
6.4 TDs

Or in other words, he was on pace for the 2nd most yards and 2nd highest reception total in a single season.

First, I highly doubt he would have kept up that pace. Second, his "breakout year" in 2012, when he played a full 16 games, he only had 79, 1200, 10. Don't get me wrong, that's really good, but Marshall is a lock for those numbers as an absolute floor IMO.

My only point is, sure, Julio CAN outscored Marshall, but even if he does I'm willing to bet it won't be much. We know exactly what you're getting from Marshall, and that's top 5 numbers. Why deviate from a much safer, yet samed-tiered player?

106, 1350, 9

Marshall's season (4) average with Cutler as his starting QB majority of the season. His average is better than Julio has ever done. Not to mention he's missed only 5 games his entire career, and none in the last three.

Can't really knock anybody for picking one over the other, I just know which player I'd take and it's not really close to me.
