Julio officially done for the year

quote:

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Julio Jones will undergo season-ending foot surgery next week after Dr. Robert Anderson confirmed Jones suffered a fracture.

I guess I'll place him on IR. Keep him for next season.

Debating whether I should pick up Pettis, Harvin, Randle, or Harry Douglas when I drop him.

Uggh. Ahmad getting on IR was bad enough, now this. I think Ahmad would have been okay even with T Rich there for at least 10 a game. He does pretty good with limited touches. But now this....I really don't see how I can recover from this. He was so damn consistent so far this year and my only WR worth a damn.

I have to hope Brady wakes up after Gronk and Amendola are back. He needs to really pick up the slack that is sure to be there with my WR1/RB3 problems. Hell I don't even have a WR2 without EJ playing QB for Buffalo. Johnson is completely worthless right now.

I've got Julio in my other league. Sitting at 5-0 there, so I added Harvin. I can ride a couple of weeks on nicks or amendola.

I got lucky. Have Ty Hilton, Josh Gordon, Terrance Williams, and Cecil shorts to fill my spots. Hate that I lost Julio, especially less than 5 days after I traded Megatron. Just glad I have some decent depth for a 16 team league.

Well son of a bitch. Stevie, Gordon, and Blackmon gonna have to pick up the slack. Gotta hope I can grab Pettis or someone off of waivers.

I wonder if the owner in my 2 keeper PPR league is going to drop him, his team is 2-3 and needs help. No IR slot.

I'm not sure Julio is worth a top 20 keeper pick.

re: Julio officially done for the year
This breaks me. I'm 5-0, but Ryan is my QB, my other receivers are Colston, Desean Jackson, and people I had to pick up. But no one who's made a third of the points Julio has . I was unstoppable for 5 games. Haha
