So what's this board's thoughts on J-stew, with rumors of Carolina moving away from RBBC and focussing more on a traditional running attack?

Is now the time to try and make a move for him?

Apparently he's the guy they want to ride. He had approximately 56 snaps to Williams' 4 last week. He may be a decent flex the rest of the way, aside from this week vs Chicago.

Depends on what else you have. But if you want to take a chance and not spend much he's your guy.

Talent wise he's top 5 in the nfl, just never has has a chance to be relevant fantasy wise

Claimed him off waivers yesterday. Was easily worth a stash for me. Could buy extremely low.

He cleared our waivers Friday and I was 8th on the wire but he fell to me. He has a huge potential week 17 matchup for those still playing if he really starts getting the carries

So I should not trade him for Felix jones, right? I have Foster & FJax who are both on bye week. I also picked up Rashad Jennings this week, so it's him and Stewart in there for me as replacements this week, and someone just offered the Jones/Stewart trade. He's a scheming bastard though, the guy who offered.

For 1 week with Stewart against Chicago it might be rough, but he definitely has more long term potential. I would take the trade just for the flex potential later because once Murray is back Jones is out.

I don't like any RB's on Carolina but I'm hoping Cam turns it around this week. I'm rolling the dice and starting him.

I may have to do the same with Rice and Spiller on bye. Not excites about it, but there's not much else on the waiver. Only other options would be Jacquizz, Phillip Turner, or McCluster (its a PPR league).

I just don't see stewart as a viable option. A guy who will get 15 carries a game. But will not score many tds unless he breaks a run. Because of cam and Tolbert taking tds inside the redone. A decent flex play in standard scoring. Low end in ppr.

Temper expectations. Cam getting the TDs and is too stupid or selfish to check down.

i think has shown he can be a decent option in ppr in past seasons. I do think it is best to wait and see what their new "look" offense is going to look like. Honestly i think they are trying to take the pressure off of cam because homeboy is about to snap. He could get a heavier workload than we have seen from carolina backs in the past and get 18-20 touches. That would give him some decent value.
