Join the "Do Your Job" FFL. Free Saints Tickets!!!*

(This was previously posted but it was removed for some reason not known by me. If anyone knows, please let me know. I changed the wording in case it was a gambling issue.)
Attention!!! It's the Who Dat Fantasy Football League time of the year again. It's a 12 team, PPR league with 2 divisions. It will be hosted on Yahoo so everyone can participate. They also have a great app for Droid/iPhone users that's super easy to use. It's a 50 whodat fee to join. ALL entry fees are used for prize payouts. The commissioner keeps nothing. In fact, the commish is donating a pair of Saints tickets to be given away. To win, you just have to have your entry fee paid before our live draft on 8/26. Everyone who has paid will be entered in the drawing and the winner will be announced at the end of the draft. Again, the entry fee does not go to pay for the tickets. Those are being donated by myself and my wife, which means we can't win, so you have a 1 in 10 chance of winning. The payouts will be 400 whodats for the Super Bowl winner, 150 whodats for the Super Bowl runner-up, and 50 whodats for the player with the highest point total that did not make it to the Super Bowl. There will be 2 (6-team) divisions and the winners of their respective divisions will meet in the Super Bowl. We will have a 6-team playoff with the top 2 seeds enjoying a 1st round bye. We have had quite a few people show interest in this year's league so if you want to participate, send fee asap as that is the only way to guarantee your spot and get your name in the drawing for the Saints tickets. We will not be accepting more than 12 teams this year. Thank you and please contact me with any questions. Call, text, or email.

Seriously....the only reason I could think is that it was competition for other leagues that dont offer an incentive that is ran by mods....now that's fishy

I didn't let it die. I don't know where it went. That's why I'm restarting it today. I would love to know which reg said it was a scam. I would bet my last dollar that reg is involved in another league that saw this as competition....Can't we all just get along? ....and play Fantasy Football?

I'll say this much, if it's so competitive for spots among people you know I'm not sure why you need board people do badly. Hey you're probably not a scammer, but I think you can see why people would be cautious

No new leaf necessary. I'm just "passionate" i guess. It's the scam thing that got me hot but I think once everyone sees how it is setup they will realize it's impossible to be a scam. The payout has to be voted on by the league. I have no control over the $.
Welcome to the league though. It will be fun and I think I may buy one of those awesome FFL trophies with the guy on the chair with the remote in his hand. The only thing is that it's $3-400. Are people on here trustworthy enough if they win to keep it for a year and then give it back the next season? I would like ti have little engraved plaques installed on the trophy each year with the winner and their record.

Not competitive, I said they showed interest. But interest doesn't equate to $$$. I wanted to open it up so we have some new characters in the mix. If I was asking for people to send me money than OK but I'm not so what is there to even be cautious of? What about this could possibly be a scam?

Are you serious? You must be slow. I never said they were pre season. And if we are drawing for them on 8/26 then what pre season game would they be for? Maybe the last one at home which is the night before?
