Is this cheating or just good strategy?

I am locked in for the playoffs, currently the number one seed, but the guy who will make the number four seed has by far the best team. He has scored way more points than anyone just had some shitty luck a couple weeks. Should I throw my game this week to get the easier matchup for the playoffs or does that constitute as some sort of cheating?

I mean, to me that's strategy but don't the one seeds usually get a bye? I would never give that up.

Take a look at his match-ups for the first rd vs the 2nd rd if you're really that worried.

FF is about teams AND matchups. Going 14-0 and losing in round 1 (week 15/16 playoffs) is no better (and worse in keepers) than going 0-14. It matchup dependent playoffs, I would play to make the best matchup possible.
If it's bye week or 2 weeks per game type of playoffs, get the bye.
