This is my third year doing fantasy. I won the championship both of my first two years and currently sit at 5-1 this year. Year one I had Brees, year two I somehow won with Eli. This year I was the last person to draft a QB and got stuck with Kaepernick.

Needless to say I probably have the worst starting QB in the league, but maybe the best team as well. The highest ranked QB on the waiver wire is Dalton (15) and several owners are trying to get me to trade for their quarterbacks. This is my team:

QB:Kaepernick (19), Mike Glennon (36)
RB: Foster (7), Forte (6), McFadden (22), Joseph Randle (73)
WR: Marshall (4), Nelson (7), Vincent Jackson (23), Cecil Shorts (29), Terrence Williams (36), Harry Douglas (80)
TE: Jordan Cameron (4), Bennett (6)
D/ST: Chiefs (1)
K: Mason Crosby (5)

Obviously my QB situation is a glaring weakness. While I want to get a good QB, I don't want to have to give up my top 2 RBs or my top 2 WRs. I'm 5-1 and a big believer in the "don't mess with success" motto. I think I can win the championship with Kap if he ever finds his groove again, but I don't think that's gonna happen.

I've gotten offers like Romo for Forte, Romo for Foster, Rivers for Forte, Rivers for Marshall, Cutler for Marshall, and Cutler for Foster. I love my 2-6 and really don't want to trade any of them. What would y'all do in this situation? The waiver wire QBs are weak (Dalton, Pryor, Flacco, Tannehill, Big Ben)

Oh yeah and this isn't PPR. Standard rules.

These are all crap, and hurt you more than help you. What positions do you start? Is it qb/rb/rb/wr/wr/flex/te/k/def?

Vincent Jackson could/should be enough to get you an average qb which is really all that you need. I might not even do that depending on your set up and what you can get back. I might just keep on rolling with kaep or try out dalton.

If I were you I would try and package Jordan Cameron and Vincent Jackson assuming Marshall and Nelson are your top 2 WR's and you would be ok with starting Bennett.

Your depth is not great, stay put. Unless you could somehow dump DMAC or Shorts/Williams/Douglas.

Didn't read all those paragraphs, but to answer the question, "Is it worth trading for a top QB?" No.

Unless you can move Shorts or Jackson for a solid upgrade I wouldn't worry about it too much. The difference between QB 6-12 isn't likely to be huge at years end. I'm not a fan of Kaep, but it's not worth gutting your roster to get a slight upgrade.

Maybe if you could get Rivers or Cutler for Shorts I;d do it, but otherwise I'd tell those guys to go screw, those trade offers are silly you have been getting.

Yeah I'm probably not gonna make a move. Rivers, Romo, and Cutler are all bench players on their teams so I figured I could try to get one for some sort of Shorts/Bennett/Douglas package. Nobody is biting.

And yeah it's qb/rb/rb/wr/wr/te/flex/d/k
