Is it time to give up on Devante Parker?

He has been beyond mediocre thus far. I'm seeing some FA WR's available that I am tempted to swap out for Parker. He's just not cutting it with 12 targets in his last 3 games (he had 13 in his only game prior). Kerley & Tyrell Williams are available FA.

ETA: I also have Alshon

That offense is the issue.

If they get on track he's a solid flex guy, if not he's screwed.

Don't give up yet. Dolphins had a rough start.

Parker isnt garbage.

His QB and the Miami offensive line is trash. I guess you haven't watched any of their games.

Tannehill is so awful

Tannehill is so bad that it's hard to start him with any confidence. I like Parker a ton, but can't trust him in that offense.

Eta: I'd try to move him if you can find someone to take him.

And I had high hopes for Tannehill this year.

Thanks a lot Gruden for only ever saying good things about these poo trash QBs!!!

Their schedule eases up a bit going forward, so if you have someone worse than Parker Id drop them for Williams

Parker has produced when Tannehill doesnt eat his own face

In a 12 team league there are probably people on your roster worth less than Parker. Second te's and defenses and such. Bottom of the roster wr's typically dont have more potential than Parker.

Parker has shown that he can produce when given the opportunity. It's just that the dolphins offense as a whole has been failing the last couple of weeks. Landry has been doing almost exactly as bad. Is he not worth a roster spot either?

Landry has nearly double Parker's points in PPR. They might suck equally in Standard, but Jarvis is infinitely more valuable in PPR. 34 receptions vs 15 (but with one less game). Parker needs TDs to be fantasy relevant, which, with that shitty team, is a stretch. I'm holding onto him hoping that Jarvis gets hurt

Yeah, I am looking at standard. In the last two horrible games for the dolphins, Landry has .1 more points than Parker in standard. Close to identically horrible. Gyno posted some stats at the beginning of the year that showed that Landry and Parker had also close to identical output (in ppr I think) last year in games where they both played. Both of their seasons will ultimately be tied to whether or not Tannehil winds up being totally worthless. Parker is more of a big play threat guy than Landry, so he will be more td dependent. I'm not betting too high on that offense either, but the individual ability certainly seems to be there. A better flyer bet than many.

I know how you feel about using made up statistics to support your position.

No not at all, he's made the most of every opportunity he's been given and the coaches have said he's gotten better.

I'd expect him to stay a WR3 but wouldn't be surprised if he has a big game in one of the 3 upcoming home games.
