Top 3 for sure. I may take him 1st ahead of bell(and I have bell in a standard league).

The guy is violent runner, breaks tackle, get stronger late in the game, has no problem handling 25 carries a game.

And is on a bad team, is a poor receiver, and is injury prone. Cool your jets on him. Also, it won't be long before teams start stacking the box to stop him.

Oh the good old "stack the box" defense. If stacking the box would work, every team would do it.

He isn't better than Bell. Especially if you play PPR. He will probably go about where Hill was going this year, but it also depends on what the rest of the field of rb's look like. Thinking about it, he might go a little higher because a lot of the other top rb's are getting kind of old. He still isn't a better option than bell. Even in standard Gurley's best game this year isn't as good as Bell's worst game.

Yup, Peterson, Charles, lynch. Bell is his only challenger for top RB. But saying gurley's best game is < bell's best game is inaccurate.

You better hope he makes it through the season without blowing out a knee before you think about Gurley next year

It's a fact. In standard, Bell's worst game was 19.2 points. Gurley's best game was 16.1. 19.2>16.1. The difference is even larger in PPR because Bell gets a lot of his yards receiving.

You're using 2 games to jump to that conclusion? Let's wait till end of season to compare.

I think he's a 2nd rounder for sure if STL doesn't literally run him into the ground (30 carries today)

After only 2 good games too. Glad to see that no one else is jumping to conclusions.

At this point, Gurley would be #3 RB at best behind Bell and Peterson. Since he's been not great in the passing game, he'd most likely be bottom of the 1st round and possibly RB #4-6 taken in a PPR league.

I think people need to tamper their expectations a bit

False. He's showed very good pass catching skills in college. But like with most rookie backs the coaches don't trust him in pass protection

The packers did this today and the Rams have the kid no run blocking most of the day and he still got 156 yards rushing and was inches away from a touchdown.

Kid is a frickin beast. Get on the train or get ran over by it.

I would take the certainty of Bell over Gurley next year for sure.

He looks great so far, but I'd like to see a few more games before I'd draft him over Bell.

Not sure how anyone can say anything other than top 5 RB. You'd take Bell, AP, Forte?, Lacy? Then who? I only put the other two simply because they are more established and are the guy. He is a superstar talent AND he's getting the bulk of the carries. He may not be a top 5 pick, but at this point I think he's a sure fire first rounder and top 5 RB next year.
