Today I benefitted from a guy dropping Justin Tucker on Wednesday. I was 9 of 10 on waivers, but nobody else seemed to notice the awful move. The owner kept Tavecchio instead, and he even had drafted Tucker in the 9th round. The dude is typically smart, but this whole situation has me befuddled.

I have been glued to the waiver wire as someone who drafted Andrew Luck, David Johnson, Allen Robinson, and Doug Martin.

I drafted a rookie David Johnson and dropped him midseason. He scored 4 touchdowns in the 3 weeks of fantasy playoffs.

This is true. But he's also considered the best kicker in football right now.

Nah. It's just a kicker. This isn't that horrible of a move, and I wouldn't have used a waiver claim on him.

We had a guy trade Brees, OBJ and Joe Mixon for D. Cook, Cohen and Garcon.

Not happy about this deal because the guy who benefited from this deal now has a lineup of:
Brees / Newton
Lynch
Ingram
Green
OBJ
Jordy / Fitzgerald
Witten
Pats D
Crosby

His starting RBs are Lynch and Ingram? That's suspect

Theyre not the greatest but in PPR league with the WR he has, he will be just fine.

ETA: The worst part of the whole move was the guy who traded OBJ & Brees was left without a QB and now has Cutler has his starter. His starting WRs now are Benjamin, Sanders, and Watkins.

So you drafted one guy who was hurt and one guy who was suspended going into the season. Sounds like you put yourself in this situation

Yeah. My plan was to get value with guys who wouldn’t start the season. Both players are out longer than expected. Martin with the Week 1 bye and Luck taking longer to play than experts thought. But I could have weathered those issues better if I didn’t lose my 1st and 6th picks to huge injuries week 1.

Julio for Moncrief and Dion Lewis in 2015

Julio was in a 2 week down stretch and the owner panicked because it was about mid fantasy season and everyone was pushing for playoffs while he was riding a losing streak.

The guy didn't have a RB on his roster worth a frick

Lewis tore his ACL the following week and Moncrief and Luck took turns battling injuries for the rest of the year after that.

Worst part was he had arguably the best draft in the league.

Cam, Nuk, Julio, and a few other good pieces. Unfortunately for him when starters were announced week 1 and Tevin Coleman got most of the work running the ball he dropped this nobody named Freeman onto the waiver wire.

Freeman became the starter the following week and ended up being the RB we all know today.
