10 team .5 PPR league, start one extra WR/TE FLEX.

I have the 3rd overall pick and don't know who I should take. My league has some keeper rules that are a little different than normal. You can keep two players, but they have to be guys that were drafted after the 4th round the year before. The first keeper is "free" meaning he is slotted into the 18th round pick. The second is at a determined round value.

My keeper options are Jordy Nelson (free) and then Kelvin Benjamin (5th) or Thomas Rawls (3rd).

I do not know who the other teams are keeping until tomorrow, but with my best guess these guys are off the board:

QBs:
Blake Bortles
Derek Carr
Cam Newton

RBs:
Todd Gurly
Doug Martin
David Johnson
Ryan Mathews
Jeremy Langford

WRs:
Golden Tate
Allen Robinson
Brandon Marshall
Doug Baldwin
Eric Decker

It looks like my best options are:

1. Keep Nelson and Benjamin and go with a RB at 3rd.
2. Keep Nelson and Benjamin and go with a WR at 3rd.
3. Keep Nelson and Rawls and go with a WR at 3rd.

Im not sure what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

Keep Nelson and Benjamin then go with AB, Odell, or Julio at 3.

If Nelson and Benjamin produce like in 2014 you have 3 top WR1. You can pick up decent/serviceable RB in round 2 and 3.

This is the correct answer.

Thats what I was leaning towards, but the lack of a RB was a little off putting. Thanks.

You should still be able to get guys like L. Murray, MAthews, Hill, Hyde, etc. to stack up on. With that trio of WRs(granted they don't bust) would be good enough to carry a less-than-ideal RB situation.

Hyde
Murray
Matthews
Martin
Stewart
Langford
Murray
Hill
Lacy
Gordon
forsett
Jennings
Ingram
Mccoy (now that karlos is gone)

Then you have to look at these for PPR leagues or backups that might end up starting sooner depending on injuries

Sims
Yeldon
Wood head
Morris
Williams
Foster
Ajayi
Micheal
Blount
