Football: Is this a Bull Shite trade and should I raise hell?

TL;DR
12 team ppr; no scoring bonuses; 6 out of 12 make the playoffs
Backstory: I currently sit in 6th place after a horrific start (thanks RGIII and a slow start to Forte and D Thomas). I worked my way back from last place to get up to 6th. On Monday, I proposed a trade to the 10th place team where I would get Tom Brady and Antonio Gates. In return, I am trading away Philip Rivers, Sanu, Forsett, and Larry Donnell. Equal or not, It is Saturday and this trade has not been acted upon by the other owner (canceled, accepted, or countered).
The 10th place team owner had major surgery the week of the draft and as a league, we agreed to have someone else draft. The commish would have access to the team to ensure that there were no holes in the roster during bye weeks. Also, with the owner's consent, the commish could add and drop from the waiver wire.
On Tuesday, an accepted trade between the commish(5th place) and that team occurred where he received Tom Brady and Reggie Bush and traded away RGIII and Jerrick Mckinnon. Despite the projections, I don't see this as an equal or fair trade from any angle. Therefore, I voted against the trade but it processed this morning. Yahoo allowed me to vote against it everyday this week which I found odd.
Does this seem like a bad deal, knowing he has access to the other team? This trade was proposed and accepted a day after my trade was proposed and it is still sitting there out in the cold. I am starting to wonder if the other owner is even running their team and that the commish is secretly running both.
What say you? TL,DR and I am butthurt!

The 2nd trade is fair. It sucks that you offered the better trade, but it's no reason to veto.
The only reason you should be upset is if the owner made the trade happen without the other team owner's input.

So McKinnon equals Bush and Brady equals RGIII? I just don't see it, but maybe I'm too disgruntled at the moment. Thanks for the first two responses as I feel more than anything, the timing of the propsed trades seem shady to me. Also, I told the commish (coworker) that I was putting together a package for Brady on Monday and his trade pops up out of the blue on Tuesday!

I'm with you. The commish, who is in charge of an incapacitated owner's team, made a trade involving that team and his own that obviously benefits himself. I'd raise hell.
I was involved in a somewhat similar situation last year. I raised hell and the trade was reversed.

The commish controls BOTH teams??

I don't know for sure, but I know he has / had access to the other team due to the owner's health this season. TBH, the owner of the other team is not that great, but she has improved tremendously at FF these past 3 seasons.

If the commish is controlling both teams it's obviously collusion.
If not, the owner trading away Brady is just retarded.

Bush is a name but he hasn't been healthy or worth a damn this season. I would take McKinnion over him

It's not as simple as that. The deal itself isnt vetoable, but if the commish is running the other team, then shite yea id raise hell. I think you need to find that out.
contact the guy that had surgery and find out.

The trade is okay, the commish being the owner of both teams is not.

I could see how it could be vetoed just because I wouldn't trade Brady away for those 3 combined. Regardless, McKinnon to me has more potential than Bush at this point just because Bush has been banged up. So, not the worst trade I've ever seen.

Reggie Bush had been very unreliable all season. I'd rather have McKinnon.
Brady has been great recently, but we've seen RG3 play at an elite level in the past.
Out if those 4 players, I'm taking Brady and Mckinnon

McKinnon on his bye week. Asiata vultures ALL his touchdowns. And Adrian Peterson will be back in the lineup by or around Thanksgiving.
It's a bullshite trade.
