If you play PPR I think Leveon will be the consensus #2 ahead of Zeke

never want to harp on too much from previous seasons, but

only 16 WRs had more receptions than David Johnson last season

34 WR had more yards

He caught the same # of TDs as Jarvis Landry, Pryor, Golden Tate, Nuk Hopkins. More than Edelman, Diggs, Jordan Matthews, Brandon Marhsall

He would've been WR33 in PPR, right behind Willie Snead.

Even with all that said, Bell averaged 26.5 points per game in PPR last year (12 games) and DJ averaged 26.7 (15 games, I didn't include that last game where he got hurt early).

DJ had 20 TDs while Bell only had 9. I'd expect Bell to add a few more TDs while DJ will probably not score 20 again.

You can't go wrong with either, but I'd take Bell 1st overall with DJ a very close 2nd.

doing it over 15 games > 12 games yes? bell had the 51 burger in there too. week to week DJ was so consistent, which is why he wont so many championships last year

Not hating on Bell as he is my 2, but he has the suspension, injury, marty bryant targets to keep in mind. just tilts the scale in DJ's favor as his situation is unchanged and Arians is already talking about giving him 30 carries a game

Hopefully Bell won't get another 3-game suspension for smoking weed. Can't really help the last game he missed, they already had the playoff spot wrapped up. DJ was consistent but Bell was too. DJ had 4 out of 15 games below 22 points, Bell had 3 out of 12. It's splitting hairs. They're 1a and 1b, no matter how you view it.

No player has or will ever get 30 carries a game. Only 5 players have ever had 400 carries in a season (25 per game), and only 1 in the last 20 years (Larry Johnson in 2006).

Obviously not literally 30 carries a game. Just illustrates he will be the focal point of that offense and no one else is really close.

Wonder if the contract situation will cause them to milk everything they can out of Bell. His price tag and off-the-field issues may not warrant a long-term investment.

Haley is already alluding to watching his work load. Remember they drafted a hammer in jimmy Connor

what was the stat split on DJ last year, you were essentially starting an RB1 and WR2-3 each week or something silly like that?

We went from the consensus top 3 picks in PPR last year being WRs, to the top 3 being RBs this year.

David Johnson single handily won my league for me. It was one of the greatest things I've seen in fantasy.

I had Bell and DJ last year in my team. Hard to believe I picked them at 8 and 16 picks.
