How serious is this injury? It sounds bad but I'm no doc. Tyrell williams tore his labrum last week and it's looking like he's going to play through it. I'm not going to start him this week but I need him for my playoff run. Is this a lingering or nagging injury like an ankle or hammy that could limit his ability to high point balls for the next few weeks?

Only way to fix a labral tear is with surgery. It is an injury you can play with. The Labrum is cartilage that deepens the shoulder cavity.

I'm thinking about starting Williams.. other options are Allen Robinson vs Denver, Jordan Matthews vs Cincy .... who would you roll with?

If Tyrell plays, I'd start him.

Robinson vs Matthews? Dart throw.

I'm a little nervous about it. I was feeling pretty confident with Tyrell through my playoff run before this. I picked up Inman in case this ends up holding Tyrell back a lot. Luckily I have a couple of weeks to see how this plays out. If I was in a must win situation this week I might start him anyway assuming he plays and inman if he doesn't.

There's a 3 team race for the fourth and final playoff spot. I'm 8-3 and the other two [people are 7-4. I play one of them this week and the other one next week (next week is last regular season game). I need to win this week and if Williams is healthy it's a no brainer I start him, but I can't afford for him to play one or two series and then they pull him. I guess I'll wait for the reports to come out tomorrow and Sunday

With Tyrell's injury what does everyone think about Inman moving forward. I'm looking for a wr3. Have Marvin Jones, Jordan Matthews, Inman and Randall Cobb .5pt ppr and I need to start 2 of the 4

Usually you feel pain when doing any pressing movement or reaching above your head

All labrum injuries are different. Chargers sound optimistic

Williams played through a torn labrum in college and had surgery after the season

I'm starting to feel a bit more confident but like you said I can't afford for him to get pulled after two series. Other options are golden tate, Sammy watkins, Donte Moncrief (looks like Luck will play), and Michael crabtree... A bunch of average WRs.

I just feel like any of those guys are going to 8 points. Williams may put up 15 but also may get 0 if pulled early. The guy I'm playing has Dak who didn't do much so I'm probably going to play it conservative.

Regarding Inman, I probably wouldn't start him this week. Of course if we see Williams come out the game Inman could be a nice play the rest of the season
