12-team roto league, with standard 5 scoring categories for hitting and pitching. I am doing well with AVG, HR, R, K, W. Desperately need SB, ERA, and WHIP help

Currently, I have been offered to -

GIVE: Mike Trout
RECEIVE: Josh Harrison, Anthony Rendon, and Gerritt Cole.

My counter was going to be for -

GIVE: Mike Trout
RECEIVE: Elvis Andrus, Cole, and Harrison OR Rendon (not both).

Any thoughts or comments as to what direction I should go (if any, bc holding onto Trout wouldn't be too bad either) would be greatly appreciated.

Have been as high as 3rd and as low as 7th in the past week (we're bunched up from 3rd-8th). Lead the league in the HR and AVG, 2nd in R. 2nd or 3rd in W and K, last in ERA and WHIP

Consider it done:

C: Posey, Flowers
1B: Bellinger
2B: Daniel Murphy
3B: Solarte
SS: Dansby Swanson
1B/3B: Todd Frazier
2B/SS: Brandon Phillips
OF: Trout, Ian Desmond, Aaron Judge, Corey Dickerson, Bradley Zimmer
UTIL: Freddy Galvis
DL: Josh Donaldson, Freddie Freeman

P:
Michael Fulmer
John Lackey
Michael Wacha
Mike Lake
Jason Vargas
Scott Feldman
Julio Teheran
Danny Salazar
Jessie Hahn
Joe Biagini
Antonio Senzatela
Joakim Soria
Adam Warren
Anthony Swarzak

DL: Aaron Sanchez

His roster is the last place roster, so he doesn't have many assets to trade with. Best assets for him are:

Salvador Perez
Miguel Cabrera
Kipnis
Rendon
Harrison
Andrus
Kemp
Justin Upton
Schwarber
Brantley
Puig
Tulowitzki
Justin Turner
Yonder Alonzo

Gerrit Cole
Steven Matz
Kenta Maeda

As you can see, I was not doing well with saves at the beginning of the season, so I have ceded that category and focused on obtaining starting pitchers to dominate the W and K categories

In this scenario I'd only consider trading Trout for two REALLY good SPs. He ain't got it.

i agree with reddman, not sure he has what you are looking for.

i dont know if you have, but if you want to trade Trout i would make it known and field offers.

would look for a frontline starter and a replacement at SS or 3B.

like say Corey Seager and a SP1 or SP2 type. Maybe could get a closer too.

Keep in mind that Freeman was prob a huge part of your offensive success and your current position. It may not be smart to deal Trout at the moment

Really appreciate all the advice, all makes sense. Freeman out for 10 weeks is killing me.

Looks like you are in desperate need of some speed. I'd sell high on Judge and try to get an SP or some saves. Losing Freeman isn't hurting you. Punting 2 categories in a roto is your downfall.
