Curios for opinions on this. Assume $3 incremental increases each year a player is kept. I was offered

Kris Bryant @ $6
For
AJ Pollack @ $20
Miguel Sano @ $3

ETA: this would also allow me to keep both Addison Russell and Carlos Rodon instead of having to throw one of them back

I'd keep Pollock, Sano, and Russell. Throw Rodon back in the pool or try to trade him. This is both the short and long term play imo. Bryant will be one hell of a player but Sano comes with an equal ceiling. Plus, you keep the best player in the deal.

Def agree there

That said, I would keep the duo. Sano is still 2 years younger than Bryant, and Pollock is a helluva player.

You're right, Sano could have more... or it could be Bryant. I can't predict the future. We're still talking about two former top prospects who were both productive and perennial 30/100 threats. If their ceilings aren't equal, it's pretty damn close. Who actually reaches it is a different subject.

As of now, it's Pollock. In the future, who knows. I'm not speaking as if it's being written in stone. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
