Fanduel NFL week 1 pricing

Link is to the prices leaked for some of the "more critical" players for week 1.
All pricing and major Week 1 contests post tomorrow. I'm going to be putting together some rosters for sure tomorrow.

is it true they are gonna have some tourneys during preseason?
it might be misremembering but I thought I saw Evan Silva say that it was going to happen this year.

I haven't heard anything like that but I'm sure it'll happen eventually. I wouldn't be interested in that either.

I wonder how much bigger DFS is going to get this year.
a league I played since 2001 disbanded because half the guys got hooked on FanDuel and the other half don't care enough about it to keep playing.

I got really obsessed with it in the playoffs last year.
I mean, a short deck to play with like everybody else but I finished strong.
I might look harder at some Monday & Thursday night games this year. But still... it is pretty random as you already know... the results I mean.
Luck was always way too over priced for my blood and I really didn't use Rodgers that much last year.

A little too ealry for DFS in July. A lot of this will change throughout the preseason. Did notice Tannehill was pretty and they think AP won't miss a beat

I think what's most critical in preseason is gauging who has a chance to have a performance like Allen Hurns did last year in week 1. That's what's going to win you tournaments in the early season when everyone's going heavy on last year's known stars.
I had most of my success in the first half of the season. By the time midseason rolls around everyone knows too much.

That's crazy. I have basically lost interest in fanduel, and fantasy baseball is my favorite fantasy sport. Fantasy >>>>>>>>>>>>> DFS

I mean I enjoyed my home league. But when people started to not set their lineups and you heard a commercial for Fan Duel every station break on sports talk radio... and got encouragement from a few friends... it just happened.
I thought it would be bullshite but its been fun so far.
I liked playing baseball on there too.

I tried DFS baseball for a few weeks and couldn't get into it. Way too much variance. The DFS format works much better with basketball and football.

haven't tried basketball because it just never interested me at all. I can watch any hoop game but fantasy basketball just doesn't jive with me.
they have college football on Fan Duel... not sure how they pulled that off.
I did a few contests during bowl season and got a few scrap helpings for my efforts.

Football is the sport I know most about though.

1st place gets 100,000
but it looks like the entry size is like over 200,000?
has there been a tourney that big before? I see its only 5 dollars to get in. I'm sure there are a few more but I saw that one at the top of the page.

Yeah, basically need to have the perfect lineup to win those. I put 10 lineups in.
The smaller tournaments that you'll want to target won't come out until closer to opening day. They have to have something for new players to enter for their big preseason advertising push.
They had a few tournaments over 100k last year but I don't remember any this big. The $25 tournament has a $1 million dollar first prize.

yeah, I was just looking at that.
I hope to start off treading lightly at the beginning of the season with the number of entries I do.
one matchup that sticks out early to me is the Steelers WR's vs. the Pats CB's in Week 1.
I know its early but you can bet I'll try my luck with Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant in that one.
Revis and Browner are both gone now. Course, Belichick is a mastermind and surely he'll figure things out but most likely, Week 1 should be a tough matchup for that NE secondary.
remember, L. Bell is out for the Steelers to start and DeAngelo Williams will be most likely be the guy replacing him. No offense to Williams but that is a huge drop off and Williams probably won't get a boat load of touches like Bell usually does. Heath Miller is older... so yeah.. Steelers WR's looking good in this game.

I couldn't even imagine playing contests during preseason.
I want to watch preseason to find a some sleepers to maybe use early on when the season starts though.
but its even sometimes hard to make it through a Saints preseason game.
especially if your watching from a bar or something. I'll do that sometimes.

There's so much edge though. Multiple lineups will be full of starters. That's dead money right there.
I planned to watch all preseason games anyway. I'll throw out one lineup a week just for shits and giggles. I'm rolling out 100 for regular season opening weekend.

I'll talk up football as much as you want though. I only know a few people who play Fan Duel and they don't put as much into it as me.
and aint that fricked up since they were the ones who were all like, "Dude you have to try this.. you'd be good at it!!!!"
