Fanduel is SO fun! Sucks my Louisiana friends can't enjoy.

I was a cheepo and only started with $10. Fanduel matched it over time and I've parlayed that $10 into over $2500.
What's the reasoning for it being blacked out in LA?

You can play and deposit money if you live in Louisiana. You just won't be able to withdraw that money.

Good fricking god I suck at fan duel. Did three 50/50s yesterday and finished bottom 10 in 2 of them and .1 point out of the money in the other one .

i played draftkings over the weekend for the first time (as u know)
finished top half but just out of pay range, im originally from texas but live in la...my bank account has a tx billing address so i signed up with that, my mom still lives at that address. by the time im ready to withdraw money i may be living in tx again so hopefully no issues, furthermore, hopefully i actually collect some change in that time

I would have whipped arse on the conference championship weekend but had Vinatieri as my kicker.
skipped over Mason Crosby like an idiot at like 10AM on Sunday morning. I had Crosby in there at first.
this was the big 2 Million dollar tournament.
I ended up winning $500 but it could have been more obviously.
Legarrette Blount basically kept me in good shape during the AFC game.

Currently 1/80 tonight in NBA. Absolutely killing it.
Of course, it is a 50/50 $1 buy-in.
ETA: Won the 50/50 by 23 points with a score of 290 on two games (pretty fricking huge margin) to win $1.80. This is probably the best line I will put up for a long time.

This really through me off. I live in Dallas and play all the time. When I traveled to the Saints game it locked me out. I had to call a friend and give my log is to get my roster managed. SMH.

I used to play on FD, but the rakes are just too much.
After a rocky start to my DFS career, quickly going down about $300, i'm in good shape now. I'm about up to playing $100 a night. I'm on my best run ever to date. In the past 20 nights, probably 15 or so plays, last night was only the 2nd night I lost all my money in play for the night. I've basically won all my 50/50s, or finished somewhere between down $20 or up $20.
I'm playing on FantasyUp right now, no rake at all til April!!! Newer, up and coming site, I got in on it about a week after it started, so I enjoyed tons of overlay on guaranteed games when they had hardly any members. Now the membership is growing, though obviously nowhere near the amount of games available as FD. But for no rake, it's a no brainer decision for me to play there for now.
The guy who started this site made $3.5 million on FD and is using most of that to front the cost of this site, especially while having no rake til April.

50/50s are just not for me. It would kill me to create an amazing roster that scores 350 points and win just as much as everyone else.
I play only GPPs, which I wouldn't recommend to a beginner. There's a ton of variance putting together GPP rosters, but it's been good to me due to good bankroll management. Last big win was $3000 on Xmas, with some decent cashes since then.

I have been just fricking around with cheap 50/50's cause I am not putting in a lot of work in these lineups. I have enjoyed breaking even and having fun betting, but I may try to fry some fish in the future and go for a bigger payout.
