For those that have played both, which do you prefer and why? One of my leagues is considering switching to FAAB for waivers this year. It would just be a blind bid session from what I understand. I have never done FAAB for waivers, but I see the following possible flaws with it:

1) What if I don't win any of the bids and can't fill a roster spot? You should still be able to pick up a free agent to fill a spot if the games haven't started yet.
2) I think there would need to be multiple bid sessions per week to make it work. This becomes time consuming.
3) Last minute additions are a big deal in my opinion. Especially if you have game time decision players in late games. No more picking up players Sunday morning before the game?

Can someone with experience with FAAB let me know how it has gone over in their leagues and if my concerns are valid? TIA.

FAAB is much better. It gives every team the opportunity to get any player.

Definitely make waivers go through multiple times each week. The league I'm in has them go through Tues-Sunday at around 10 AM.

ESPN has made it so players become FA after FAAB waivers go through, but I think part of it would be making sure you put in enough bids to pick up a player.

FAAB I find to be the fairest way. Everyone has a chance after Week 1 to get any player they want.

I was hesitant to do FAAB at first but realized it's the only way. Its fantastic trust me. More strategy, more fair, more fun
