Every year since 2000 the ESPN fantasy first overall pick was a RB

Until this year.

WR Antonio Brown selected as number one overall. Do you foresee a pattern here or will a RB return as number one?

The NFL is a much different animal today than it was in 2000. The game is catered to fast, shifty WRs since you can't touch them without drawing a flag.

You think there wasn't an elite group of WR's in 2000?

Then why do experts like to boast about a WRs being 6'5" 220lb?

If by the game, you mean fantasy, then yes.

Big targets will still always be preferred. They get you touchdowns in the red zone

Most of those guys they talk about are also fast and shifty.
