Ellington, Pierce, Roddy FOR Antonio Brown

I would get Antonio Brown... Guy I'm offering to lost Charles, Knowshon, & Ryan Mathews yesterday and only has Shonn Greene on Bench. His noteworthy WRs are Brown, Jefferey, Hawkins, & Floyd
12 Team - PPR (1pt)
My lineup
QB: Ryan
RB: Gio, Ellington, Joique, Pierce, Hill, Gerhart, & Sankey
WR: DT88, Dez, Roddy, Gordon (stash)
Obviously if the injuries had not happened he wouldn't consider this trade but just wanted to get an opinion on if this trade is "fair". To me both teams improve, but I'm getting the better upgrade.
I do think he's gonna at least counter and ask for Hill.... Which I really don't want to give up.

I think you lose that trade. I would not give up Ellington and Roddy for Antonio.

Depth at RB is a strength. Do not get rid of all of those pieces just to improve at 1 position in order to lose value at another.
Pierce has high end RB2/ low end RB1 potential. Ellington has RB1 potential in a PPR.
If anything he should be making you stellar offers since he is in the need, not you....

At some point, you will need the depth. This weekend is evidence of that.

true - I'm a sucker for top WRs and the opportunity to have DT88, Dez, & Brown in a PPR intrigued me.
Ellington - just concerned about health and if he be able to make the jump up to where Gio is.
Pierce - I'm back and forth on how I feel about him. Will probably have some big games and some busts.
Roddy - I like Roddy and normally like a QB/WR combo but not sure how I feel about the Ryan/Roddy combo. Guess I need to give it more than 2 games before I decide.

Dude. Pierce does not have low end RB1 potential. He's just a guy.

I like the trade. Not high on Pierce or Ellington. And Brown > Roddy

Wut?
But to answer your question - in a vacuum I don't think it's a very good trade, but given your RB depth I'd probably do it. Starting Joique and Gio isn't bad when you have those 3 WRs starting for you. With injuries included I could easily see Joique = Ellington at the end of the year, without the headaches. One thing I would say is maybe try and get him to throw in Ryan Mathews. Since he's out 4-5 weeks maybe he'd do it, thinking he's worthless, but it'd be a good stash for you and add back to your depth when he comes back from injury.

No way. Giving up way too much.

What would you consider fair value for Antonio Brown given my roster then?
He would probably throw in Mathews if I requested.

Ellington and White, ask for Brown and Matthews, then work from there.
ETA: also if you have a higher waiver spot than him try to pick up Davis, if he isn't already owned in your league.

I'm #2 on waivers but Davis is already owned.
