Drafting 7th in a 12 team .5 ppr league where QBs get 6 points for TDs and five point bonus for 300 yard passing. (RBs/WRs get five point bonus for 100 yard performances)Top six picks will probably go: McCoy, Charles, AP, Forte, Megatron, Peyton/Brees. Who would you take with the seventh pick? Would you take the top QB available or draft Lacey, DT88, AJ or Dez?

Wow, in that format I'd probably take Brees. He's good for an extra 5 points just about every game.

When it comes to a first round pick, the seventh pick is about as difficult as I've seen.

I feel like Brees should be around at No. 7, but that may not hold true in a league with several Saints fans.

I would probably take the top QB available (whether that be Manning, Brees, or Rodgers).

I'm drafting 8th and in a league where Manning and Brees will definitely be gone. My pick will come down to Graham, Rodgers, Lacy/Forte, or D. Thomas.

I'm going to wait on a QB because it is really deep this year. I'm probably going with a RB since WR is very deep and RB is not.

I've researched this quite a bit with the bonus points for a league I am in. IMO, it changes the draft process quite a bit. I would draft in this order: Manning, Brees, McCoy, Megatron, Charles, Peterson, Forte, J. Graham, Foster, Lacy, AJ Green. Ii might seem a little out of wack, but here's the #'s. The QBs put up 300 yd passing games at a greater frequency than RB and WR put up 100 yd rushing and receiving games. I researched it at 350 yds passing and Manning had 8 games with 350 last season and Brees had 6. That's compared to McCoy with 4 100 yd games. The closest to MCoy with 100 yd games was Megatron, AJ Green and DJax with 3. Charles had 2 games, Peterson had 1 and Forte had 0. Only other RB with more than 1 was Murray. However, Stafford had 5 games with 350, as compared to Rodgers with 0 (probably had some 300 games) . IMO, go Manning or Brees if available. If not, go best player available. Reach for Stafford a little (maybe a round earlier than ADP). Other QBs to target would be Brady, Rivers and Roethlisberger in there normal APD. Brady and Rivers each had 4 bonus games and Roethlisberger had 5. A combo of Stafford and Megatron could be a game changer in this scoring system. However, odds are Megatron doesn't drop to 7. Manning or Brees should be there for you at 7.

I have the same format in my work league. I pick 4th and manning or Brees is already guaranteed to go 2nd. If manning/brees and Rodgers are gone by the 2nd would Stafford be a stretch there?

Edit: actually mine is 1 point per 30 yards and 5 at 330 yards

If Forte is available at 8, that's an easy decision.

I think Stafford is only a stretch because of where most people are taking him. You could probably wait on Stafford and get a WR or RB before taking him. Stafford in the 3rd round at the earliest.

Our QB System - Start 2 QB's

1 pt per completion
1 pt per 20 yards
5 pt bonus for 300 yards passing
6 pt for passing TD 0-9 yards
9 pt for passing TD 10-39 yards
12 pt for passing TD 40+ yards
12 pt for rushing TD of 0-9 yards
18 pt for rushing TD of 10-39 yards
24 pt for rushing TD of 40+ yards
-3 for Int

QB's are very valuable. If you dont have a stud, you better have two upper mid-tier guys or you dont have a shot.

It's actually awesome. I feel it translates more accurately to the game.

Low-mid 200's. Every once in awhile you get a 30 pt game.
