Draft dilemma

What would you do?
My situation: 12-team snake draft. I get first choice on my draft position. I have a keeper (Michael Thomas) that I have locked in to Round 3.
Option 1: Draft 1st or 2nd, get DJ or Bell, and be happy about it.
Option 2: Draft 10th to 12th, get 2 great players, maximize value on my 3rd round keeper pick late in the round, and pick early in the 4th.

Draft 2nd, you get Bell/DJ then pick again at 23
DJ/Bell
2nd round (guy like Nuk, Fornette, Demaryius, Cooper)
Mike Thomas

Well, drafting late allows you to have Thomas at an even better value (#36 overall) rather than #25 overall if you go with drafting at 1 or 2.
The value of your keeper says to go with the late pick, but having a game changer, especially at RB, is hard to pass up.

I laugh at anyone that questions whether or not they should pass on the chance to draft DJ or Bell.

Option 1 without a doubt. The best way to think of these draft trade/draft positioning questions is to put players in the place of draft pick and ask which you'd rather in a trade. Especially in the early rounds when you have a good idea which player will be available. So, the question becomes, would you rather have
[DJ or Bell] and someone like D. Bryant (ADP 20) or A. Cooper (23)
or
[M. Gordon (11) or T. Hilton (12)] and J. Howard (13)
For me, I'd much rather the first option. Even if you go all the way to your 4th round and add in late 4th for option 1 (guys like L. Fitz, A. Robinson, J. Mixon, etc.) or early 4th for option 2 (Mccaffrey, K. Allen, T. Kelce) the Option 1 choices are still better.
Go with option 1 and pick 2nd, unless you have a strong preference between DJ/Bell, and if you do, pick 1st

Option 1. You already have a solid 2nd rounder, take the elite top 2 guy and add in another really good second rounder

What is the second pick worth this year in terms of pick trading?
