I'm drafting 9th in a 12 team league, standard scoring. The positions are standard 2wr/2rb/1 flex (rb, wr, te).

The league manager has a rule that the flex player has to be non-black to change it up a bit. How would you handle the draft in this case? Who should I be looking for around the 9th/16th picks?

I would alert the local NAACP about this commissioners unethical and racist behavior

Sounds like you should pick your white guy early as there aren't a ton of options so you'd have an advantage

I'd draft Kevin white just to make the argument that you can start him due to his last name

now that I've been thinking about this you need to grab a good white player as soon as you can. The white tier will drop tremendously once they start going.

Julian Edleman
Jordy Nelson
Danny Woodhead
Eric Decker

Take 3 WRs (Rds 1-3) or RB in Round 1 and 3 WRs (2-4) so you can put one of these guys in the FLEX.

Thanks for the tips. I'm confused here as to what to do..might need to grab one in the second round even.

Gronk went early, at 6. I managed to get AP at 9 and pounced on Jordy Nelson in round 2. Then I realized I would put Jordy in the flex, and would be god awful on receivers, so I picked up Greg Olsen for my flex spot, and Delanie Walker as tight end.

This whitey thing really threw a wrench in my plans. There are hardly any noteworthy white running backs and wide receivers.

Does espn/whoever yall use allow you to make settings like that? Or do you manually just not put in a black person?

I guess the league manager will just enforce it.. No way ESPN would

I ended up getting AP for the 9th pick then I pounced on jordy Nelson in the 2nd round. I may have gone for the white guy too early and I realized I was going to be way weak on receivers. So I picked up Greg Olsen, then got Delanie walker as well for tight ends. So I can put either Olsen or Nelson as flex since they are both white. I'm starting Olsen in the flex spot this week.
