What would you trade for Dez? (standard scoring league)

Already talking to the Dez owner in my league and was curious what the board thought about this.

I mean a team who went Dez in Rd1 could easily be out of the playoff hunt by week 6 or 7 if they dont have depth at WR.

Dez for Ingram?
Dez for Cooks?
Dez + something for either?

6 weeks is going to be a long time without Dez. That's going to be half the regular FF season. Rotoworld also made the "Jones fracture" seem like a difficult recovery also.

he's going to miss more than 6 weeks. Tough injury for a WR.

Julio had the same injury, came back and broke the screw in his foot. Missed 11 more games.

Kevin Durant dealt with this all last year as well.

everyone heals different. I hope he can be back by week 8 at the least. 2 leagues i will be fine without him. One other league i will be done lol. One part of fantasy you cant control.

Was going to send out some offers for Dez until i saw it was a Jones fracture. These are notoriously slow healing because of poor blood supply to the area. Beware.

I know a CFB player who had a Jones fracture and was out a year, in a walking boot most of the time.

I don't blame you. People are enamored with the name, not thinking about the impact. 4-6 weeks seems optimistic to me and could be a lingering or worse IR type of situation.

The more competitive/less playoff teams the more I would try to unload Dez. For those in easy leagues/lots of playoff teams, Dez could be a good stash.

Abdullah is on my bench right beside Arian Foster.

If I can snag Dez to pair with Julio and play Cooks or Cooper in the flex I'm taking it

If this IS the same injury, I'm not so sure I'd be so willing to trade for Dez. Durant came back too soon like Julio and was out the rest of the season Not worth trading anything above WR2/RB2 IMO

If you've got the depth then do it, risk/reward is good enough

But don't cripple your team to add a cripple

Wonder why they didn't PUP him

Seems like they think he will be on the lesser side of 4-6

I don't think you can PUP someone during the season. I think you have to do it during final cuts

Julio was different. Julio jones had a screw in his foot already. that screw BROKE, and caused a more serious injury.

Ah, ok. But the possibility of having a Durant-like "early comeback" to just be re injured again is too risky for me.
