would you guys consider selling him high (I think I used this right ) at the moment, or do you anticipate he keeps throwing up 30+ weekly?

I have russell wilson and carr on my bench as well so I’m guessing I can afford to trade him

Drop Carr. You don't need 3 QBs

Feel free to trade one of them, but be prepared to struggle to find an offer that knocks your socks off. QBs are hard to move

No one is ever going to put up 30+ every week. That said, I think he's your best option going forward. I'm not starting him in week 8 at Seattle, but I can plug in Wentz that week vs SF.

30+ weekly? I don’t know many QBs in FF history that averaged even close to that ever

But yes, you’d be selling high

He’s averaged 28 PPG all season and almost 36 PPG in his last four starts

What’s your reasoning?

I’m only asking because I value your opinion

Hang onto Watson a couple more weeks but I'd definitely trade him. His fantasy playoffs consist of Jacksonville and Pittsburgh, that's the #1 and #2 ranked passing defenses as of right now.

Well, it depends what you can get for him. In some leagues QBs have solid trade value. In others, they are really hard to move.

Watson is a good option moving forward, maybe even top 5. But so is Rustle...doesn't make a lot of sense to roster both.

Meh. I find the "strength of schedule" in a vacuum overblown. Yes, Jags have strong DBs, but let's look which teams they've shut down...Baltimore, NYJ, Goff, Tom Savage...need I say more?

Same thing with Pitt. Do you consider Kizer, Glennon, Flacco and Bortles elite?

Watson has a safe enough floor to easily get to 20 points just by throwing 2 TDs and rushing it 5-7 times a game.

I have had a few people in my league reach out to me about Watson.. I just can’t justify trading the number one overall fantasy player.. I’d be pissed if he continued his fantasy dominance

With that being said, his schedule does toughen up a little bit in the future, and he is a rookie, so maybe now is the time.. I don’t know, I just can’t pull the trigger lol

You’re spending too much time on the rant

Pretty simple

Wilson is a top 10 QB. You don’t need 2 much less 3

Watson is the hot name and will fetch more.

Historical data calls for a Watson regression. Odds are against him to sustain this pace

Wilson vs Watson on a point per game basis for the rest of the season (which is all that matters) is close - in theory if you pull the correct trade you’re adding value at another position.

The lack of a running game and his piss poor o-line doesn’t scare you at all?

Also, if I were to trade Watson, what RB would you equate his value to? ** I know it depends on who I’m trading with, but he’s no less than a RB1, correct?

Watson has a TD% of 8.6 right now.

Aaron Rodgers was at 9% in 2011 when he threw 45 TDs

Peyton was at 8.3% in 2013 when he threw 55 TDs

Maybe some see Watson continuing his season that rivals two of the best QB seasons ever. 53% of his current fantasy points are coming from pass TDs. I would bet against him continuing that pace. If he does then he will go down as GOAT season ever

Good numbers. I'm interested to see what he does in an actual game with the typical game flow. He's been a part of 2 blowout wins where he hasn't had to throw a bunch of passe and a blowout loss to KC where had had garbage time. NE is probably closer to the median when he had 2 TDs and 2 INTs

And 20 fantasy points. I don't disagree with any of your points at all, but if that's going to be representative of his floor, I say roll with it. Especially with the injuries on that defense, they're going to have to score. The addition of Fuller also gives them a down field threat that the other QB options in OP don't have. That's my 2 cents. Take it FWIW.

He’s hung 41 and 34 points in two of the last three games and has a history of doing so. Top 3 QB in ‘14 and ‘15 while being a slow starter - last year he had the ankle but eventually got it going too. He’s essentially what you’re counting on Watson being ROS. Schedule is easy too

This isn’t me hating on Watson, just being realistic. He’s had some garbage time numbers which isn’t something you want to count on

Start with their best RB and work from there, I’d say

I think I’m going to trade him.. maybe I can get a RB2 and a WR2, could use two starters, I’m 3-3 and middle of the pack scoring wise

If you were in this situation, you’d roll with Wilson the rest of the season if you HAD to pick one?

I’d let their value dictate who I keep
