With today's injury to Rivera, is he worth a look as a closer? I'm guessing it's him or Soriano?

I would think Robertson is the leader in the clubhouse. He is a better pitcher than Soriano.

Truth is though no one knows except Girardi right now. I guess it's possible that he keeps Robertson in his successful 8th inning role and let's the more experienced Soriano take over.

Wait for the MRI but I suspect he would be next in line with soriano becoming the set up guy.

Robertson is the better pitcher and heir apparent. Soriano has experience.

I look like a smart guy in my league. I've had Robertson all season.

I went to pick him up but was too late. Going to watch the situation in case soriano gets the job.

Robertson is not a bad add regardless. He'll give you 3 or 4 innings per week of shutout pitching with an obscene K rate.

Robertson, is the best set up man in baseball. I'm in a 16 man league so it's deep as hell. But, i've picked him up the following past few years.

Off the top of my head. He pitched something ridiculous like 66 innings last year, with 100 Ks and a low 1.00 something ERA.

I don't remember the exact stat, but he had an INSANE streak last year going on. Something like coming on with less than 2 out and at least 2 on and giving up no runs. He is GREAT at getting out of jams.

He'll K more than Mo, but he walks more too. Hits are kind of a wash. Since he became the Yank's setup man, he's gotten much better though. He's no Mo, but he has been the closer of the future in lots of NYY fans' eyes for the last couple years. Guy has great shite and similar to Mo, just doesn't get rattled at all.

my concern as a Yankee fan (non fantasy) would be the person filling the role of Robertson
