Not really. It's on the road against a usually above average D. Legit question. They're both projected at 18+ pts. Plus Dak always has the option of getting a score with his legs. Quit being homers.

Quit acting like you know what you're talking about. Dak does not possess the ability to finish top 3. Brees does it consistently. There's a reason they say always start your studs.

Brees=Stud
Dak=/=Stud

But by all means play Dak. Don't come on here asking dumb questions and get offended when we give you the correct advice

Dak was ranked the QB26 both times against the Giants last season. Pretty sure he barely hit double digits in both games

I will just say I echo the other guys as far as the decision goes. It's not even close IMO. Brees indoors on Monday night in the opener could be playing the '85 Bears and I would probably still start him.

Eta: Actually, if you want the cold hard truth, when you draft a consensus top 3 qb, you shouldn't even draft a back up. Dak is just taking up a space on your bench. You should build your rb and wr depth. Try to trade Dak.

OP, dont be surprised if you see Dak have the typical 2nd season blues. Not a knock on the guy, just wouldnt be surprised if he takes a step back this year.

I stated only facts, with my comment. Like Earl said, not a great matchup for Brees. Dak has more weapons/protection around him. It's a legit question this week. Most weeks, I know it's a no brainer. Our Saints will usually be a in barn burner or trailing, where Drew is chunking it 40+ times a game.

I needed a back up and Dak was available late. I feel pretty good about all other positions when drafting him.

I do find it funny that you're calling other people homers when you're a Mississippi state fan

This is just my opinion, but I disagree with that entire post.

You didn't need a backup if you drafted Brees.

I don't think Dallas has more weapons than Brees. Plus, Brees is in a pass happy offense that forces defenses to defend the entire field. The Cowboys are run heavy and tend to work the middle of the field or deep to Dez.

The Giants defense did really, really well against the Cowboys last year. Brees is a hall of famer. I don't see a decision at all here.

The matchup is worse for Dak. Giants pass D was one of the best in the league last year

Don't be an idiot, but it seems you are too late for that. If you draft Brees, you always play him.

Since 2006, he has never thrown for less than 4388 yards in any of the last 11 seasons. He has led the league in yardage 5 of the last 6 seasons.

Get the frick out of here

So you drafted Brees to bench him?

Going on the most recent season, Dak did finish ahead of Drew in the MVP race. Yeah, yeah, it's a team game/award. I guess we do know Drew will get in 40/50 attempts, 2/3 Tds/Ints. Regardless of what some of you shits think, I was already 60/40 Drew before posting on here.
