12 team, we play qb, 2rb, 2wr, 1 flex, 1TE, 1 kicker, 1 DST. How many bench spots is ideall? This league used to draft 5 rb and 5 wr, so they are used to being lazy. I am thinking 6...

we play on more wr and use 5 bench spots.

I think it depends on how active you want the waiver wire to be. Deeper bench puts more emphasis on the draft whereas 4 or 5 spot bench makes the wire more active and rewards those players who keep up with the news.

I like 6 but the more the better. It pays off more for the people who actually prepare and draft well when the waivers aren't loaded. Screw the noobs. This isn't amateur hour
