I'd wait until JV makes a home start, then trade him after that. You can probably get a little more from the same owner.

1:61 ERA at home, over 7 on the road.

I think you can get more based on the name of Verlander.

But the way JV is pitching right now, it's fair. Like I said, I would wait until he pitches at home then go to the owner and say, 'Hey, see, it was just a few bad outings.'

JV is a great benefactor of his home ballpark being huge.

I'm in the camp that thinks Verlander will get his shite together and finish at least as a top 15-20 SP.

I wouldn't make that deal.

Walk rate up, K rate down, giving up homers, getting very little ground balls. If you can get somebody to buy 2016 verlander, I think you have to make that deal.

Pomeranz isn't THAT bad. High K/9, with a good offense behind him. He gives up walks and his GB/FB rate sucks (homers) which inflates his ERA and WHIP, but he's above replacement level in most leagues.
